In Jiu Jitsu, you have 3 major types of training partners. The sooner you learn this concept, you can speed up your progression by getting the most out of your training. So the 3 types of training partners are lesser skilled , better than you and similar level to you . Caveat: in the beginning, 6-9 months ish, basically everyone is better than you. You should have a mindset of only learning, not winning. But just showing up will have you getting much better, much faster.
